- disconnect monitor cable and keyboard, remove USB drive (you may keep monitor connected if you want to double check if Mini-PC is booting correctly in next operations)
- plug ehternet cable into ETH1 (LAN interface) of the Mini-PC and connect it directly to your laptop LAN (RJ4-45) port (use adapter if needed)
- configure laptop's Ethernet interface into the same "EE subnet" (example: laptop's IP 192.168.16.3 and mask 255.255.255.0)

3.12 Power on Mini-PC, wait until it booted (30-60 seconds) and check if:
- the Ehternet port on your laptop went online.
- you can ping 192.168.16.1 from terminal (or cmd in Windows).

Open browser in your laptop and enter 192.168.16.1 in address field - you should be loaded opnSense administrative UI like this:
If you see opnSense Administration login page, then Step 3 is completed and now it's a time to configure opnSense.
