Remote Shack with Expert Remote
'all-in-one-place' practical setup guideExpert Remote was built with the thinking of future. Adding the fucntionality of the:
- and more - all those just a matter of time and things are moving quickly now, with full ready and operational Expert Remote ecosystem.
As usual, many things depend on 3rd party vendors willing to adopt TCI. Those who will - have advantage, as their systems will have natural integration into Expert Remote. Those who will not ... well ... but do not worry, the emulators and workarounds are always available.
The current (in progress) Proof of Concept phase of the Expert Remote add-ons is displayed in the following diagram:

Yes, that is right, we are talking about wast functionality expansion with live (remotely operated) demos and lot of options of the 3rd party equipment integration.
Is this EE official? No, not yet. This information should be seen as "development inside" at this stage: it is closed test/dev community initiative, which was put forward to EE. And it is in active discussion now what parts of it EE will embed (and oficially support) and what will rely on 3rd party developers to enable.
When we going to see it full alive? Soon. The most fundamental part - Expert Remote - is online. And add-ons: some things already close-tested, some are in "POC build progress", some are just have the concept. Here below are links to two projects, which are extending Expert Remote functionality:
Expert Remote Power Management
Yaesu Rotators control for Expert Remote
Current status on both projects
Both projects passed final closed test phase. Currently pending production data (i.e. assembly cost, shipping, lead time, etc) and finalizing Expert Remote integration.
Important
